1 He’s a successful small businessman. David Herndon has the kind of business experience that’s sorely needed in Columbia.  His business background will be an asset as he works to reform government and help find smart, innovative solutions to our traffic problems.

2 He’s a lifelong, conservative Republican. He’s firmly committed to the conservative principles of low taxes and small, efficient government. He’ll be the taxpayer watchdog we need in Columbia.

3 Reducing traffic congestion is his highest priority.  No problem impacts our daily lives more than our crippling traffic congestion. As our Representative, David’s highest priority will be helping to find smart, innovative answers to our traffic problems. He’ll dedicate himself to improving our roadways, relieving congestion, and preserving our community’s quality of life.

4 He’ll serve no more than three terms.  David understands that career politicians are the root of many of S.C.’s problems, because they tend to resist the changes needed to move our state forward. He’ll fight for term limits for state legislators... and he’ll set the right example by limiting himself to no more than three terms in office.

5 He’ll look out for our interests, not special interests.  David refuses to accept campaign contributions from political action committees (PACs), so he’ll be free from the influence of special interests... and free to always put our interests first. His only objective will be serving our community.

6 He’s committed to real, meaningful reform.  David believes in clean, honest, accountable, efficient government. He’ll fight for the reforms needed to make state government work better for all of is. He’ll push for stronger ethics laws to hold politicians accountable... agency streamlining to reduce waste and inefficiency... budget reform to ensure vital needs such as public schools take priority over frivolous spending and “pet projects”... and transportation reform to ensure road funds go where they’re needed most.

 7 No one will work harder for us than David Herndon!  Having built his own business -- a commercial landscape and maintenance company -- David understands hard work. His tireless work ethic has helped him succeed in business, and it will help him get results as our Representative. There’s no substitute for hard work!
